Begej Shipyards Group
Begej Shipyards Group is a partnership between the largest Danube chemical/oil tanker fleet owner and operator, Rubikon Shipping Company and financial investors, having their professional background in finance and investment banking.
The primary goal of partnering up was to re-establish a reliable shipbuilding company and continue 70 years long tradition of a well known Shipyard Begej.
BSG currently owns and operates two shipyards in the City of Zrenjanin area and employs over 300 highly skilled workers. Our shipyards have a portfolio of over 340 newly built ships of various types including, dry cargo vessels, chemical tankers, tug-boats, push boats, special vessels and cruise ships.

Outfitting
Our ships are fully outfitted at our shipyards, reducing the building time by outfitting the vessel while the hull is still being built. We manufacture ladders and gangways, handrails, guardrails, awning, floorings, racks and shelves, brackets, etc.

You are central to the process. We provide a dedicated project manager, an office with Wi-Fi, and direct access to our design team. Our system allows you to influence all shipbuilding phases with 24/7 support, all backed by the operational experience of our founder, Rubikon Shipping.

The company has an extensive experience in this field. We create designs for newbuilding, conversion and repair projects. Our team has designed more than 120 vessels... We also work closely with all relevant international naval designers.
Our Builds
If you are looking for liquid cargo ships, our inland type C and type N chemical tankers may be the right solution for you. These double hull vessels, designed to carry a wide range of high grade chemicals, are fully built and outfitted at our shipyards. Shipyard Begej
Located on the right bank of the Begej river in the City of Zrenjanin industrial zone. With over 72 years of tradition, Begej specializes in custom vessels and can build ships up to 135 meters in length and 12 meters in width.

Operational Limitations of the Slipway System
The entire project was primarily developed for an assumed vessel weight of 1,800 tons. Any uneven overload distribution on individual trolleys may amount to approximately 33%, around 400 tons.
The installed power and the mechanism of the main winch can generate a pulling force of approximately 564 kN which enables the lowering of a single tandem or a large trolley with a load of around 400 t.

Shipyard Perlez
Newly built from the ground up in 2008, Perlez is located downstream of the Stajicevo ship lock. Designed for larger capacities, it accommodates vessels up to 135 meters long and 20 meters wide.
